1. In short

There are no accounts, and nothing you enter is sent to our server. All calculations run in your browser.
Your birth details are stored only in this browser, and only if you tick “Remember my birth details”. You can delete them at any time.
If ads are shown, Google AdSense uses cookies. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are asked for consent first (section 4).

2. What is stored in your browser

These items live in your browser’s local storage on your device. We cannot see or collect them.

Please only enter another person’s details with their agreement. Their details also stay in this browser only.

Storing your details is optional and happens only at your request.

3. How to turn storage off and delete everything

Don’t store: leave “Remember my birth details” unticked. Your reading disappears when you close the page.
Delete everything: press “Delete everything saved on this device”. You’ll see what will be deleted and must type “delete all” to confirm. All items in the table are removed, and you can undo for 30 seconds (only during that time a copy stays in this tab).
In your browser: clearing this site’s data (cookies and site data) also removes them.
Moving devices: “Export · backup · restore” saves your details as a JSON file. “Export as HTML” saves the whole app as one file; with “Include my details” on, your details go into that file. These files contain your date of birth, so keep them safe.

4. Advertising and cookies (Google AdSense)

Fate Hall may show Google AdSense ads to cover its running costs. On pages with ads:

Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
Google’s use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visits to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
You can opt out of personalised advertising in Google Ads Settings, and opt out of some third-party vendors’ cookies at aboutads.info (US) or youronlinechoices.eu (Europe).
How Google uses information from sites that use its services: Google partner sites policy.
EEA, UK and Switzerland: before any advertising cookie is set, you see a consent message from a Google-certified consent management platform (IAB TCF v2.2). You can refuse or change your choice at any time from the link in that message.
Your birth details are never passed to advertisers. Ads appear only above and below the reading tools, never inside results or next to buttons.

5. Other connections

Fonts: the English site uses fonts already on your device. It does not load web fonts from Google or anyone else.
Links: links on the Sources & methods page take you to other sites only when you click them.
There are no AI features, photo uploads, maps or address lookups on this site, so nothing you type leaves your browser.

6. Your rights

Because we do not receive or store your details, we hold no personal data about you that we could show, correct or delete; you control everything in your browser as described above. For advertising data, use the Google controls in section 4. You may contact us (below) or your local data protection authority with any concern.

7. Children

Fate Hall is meant for general audiences and does not knowingly collect information from children. Children under 16 should use it with a parent or guardian.

8. Changes and contact
